The mold should also be matched with the injection speed, injection pressure, clamping force, platen dimensions and control interfaces of the injection molding machine.
For food-contact packaging projects, the selected plastic material, additives and finished container should be evaluated according to the regulations of the destination market. For products supplied to the European Union, applicable requirements may include Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
