IML

Choose Your IML Supply Scope. This catalogue brings together robot equipment, molds, labels and finished containers. Start with the item you intend to purchase, then use the relevant range to define its scope. State whether you need one item or several items coordinated for the same project.

Robot Equipment. For label handling and product takeout, browse the IML robot model directory. If the robot has not been selected, review the In Mold Labeling Robot selection guidance. Configuration, end-effector design and machine compatibility need review for the selected product and mold.

Molds. For tooling, use the mold range to distinguish the intended product and molding task. An IML mold project needs the product design, label structure, material, cavity number and production requirements; the range also contains other injection molds.

Printed IML Labels. Open In Mold Labeling Plastic Labels when the required item is the label. Review its size, shape, artwork, positioning and handling with the container design, mold and robot configuration.

Finished Containers. Use the packaging range for finished container requirements. For in-mold labeled containers, define shape, matching lid, artwork and label coverage. Tooling and automation are quoted separately where required.

Combining Several Items. Use the IML Automation System scope review when the project combines equipment and process requirements. Send an Engineering RFQ identifying the items to be supplied and the available product, label, mold and machine information. Keep the requested delivery items explicit when asking for a quotation. Sharing a catalogue does not establish compatibility as a complete system.
