Description

Plastic Pallet Mold Applications

Plastic pallet mold solutions from HecosTech are developed for logistics, warehousing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, export packaging and industrial material handling. Each mold is designed according to the pallet dimensions, load requirements, deck structure, forklift entry direction, plastic material, required output and injection molding machine specifications.

Typical applications include nine-leg pallets, three-runner pallets, reversible pallets, rackable pallets, hygienic pallets, spill-containment pallets and custom industrial pallets. The product design may include reinforced ribs, steel insert positions, anti-slip surfaces, forklift entry openings, identification areas and nesting or stacking features.

As a large plastic injection mold, the pallet mold requires stable filling, uniform cooling, structural strength and reliable product ejection. Pallet projects can also be coordinated with reusable logistics products such as plastic crates and turnover boxes.

Custom Plastic Pallet Injection Mold Design

Each plastic pallet injection mold project is evaluated according to the pallet length, width, height, product weight, static load, dynamic load, racking load, rib layout, plastic material, steel reinforcement requirements, runner system, gate position, cooling layout and required molding cycle.

Available configurations may include hot runner systems, multiple gate layouts, optimized cooling circuits, sliders, lifters, hydraulic ejection and interchangeable inserts. The mold should also match the injection molding machine platen size, tie-bar spacing, injection capacity, clamping force, mold thickness range and robot clearance.

For pallet performance evaluation, test plans may refer to ISO 8611-1:2025, which specifies test methods for nominal load, maximum working load and durability comparison. Final load ratings should still be confirmed through engineering review and physical testing of the actual pallet design.

Complete Plastic Pallet Production Solutions

The final production configuration depends on the pallet dimensions, product weight, molding cycle, extraction direction, stacking method and factory layout. The robot and end-of-arm tooling should be matched to the heavy molded product, machine opening stroke and required placement position.
