Plan Stacking and Format Changeovers Before Installation

Lightweight cups may flex or nest irregularly after leaving the mold. The takeout tooling and release position should keep products from every cavity correctly oriented for controlled transfer. Stack quantity, discharge interval and conveyor capacity must be matched to the actual shot rate.

If visual inspection is required, the inspection position and reject process should be planned with the robot layout. The system may need to check missing, doubled, misaligned or wrinkled labels as well as deformed rims and incomplete products before the cups enter the final stack.
