Description
Plastic Chair Mold Applications and Chair Types
Plastic chair mold solutions from HecosTech are developed for household furniture, restaurants, hotels, schools, outdoor spaces, commercial facilities and public seating applications. Each mold is designed according to the chair dimensions, appearance, load requirements, plastic material, required output and injection molding machine specifications.
Typical applications include plastic armchairs, armless chairs, dining chairs, outdoor chairs, stackable chairs, plastic stools and decorative woven-look chairs. Product designs may include armrests, reinforced legs, textured surfaces, ventilation openings, stacking structures and customized logos or patterns.
As a large plastic injection mold, the chair mold should provide stable filling, uniform cooling, reliable product ejection and dimensional consistency around the legs, backrest, seat and armrest areas. The chair structure, mold design and molding process should be evaluated together to reduce deformation and improve production stability.
Custom Plastic Chair Mold Design
Each plastic chair mold project is evaluated according to the chair length, width, height, product weight, wall thickness, leg structure, backrest design, armrest configuration, rib layout, surface texture, plastic material and required molding cycle.
Available configurations may include hot runner or cold runner systems, multiple gate layouts, optimized cooling circuits, sliders, lifters, hydraulic ejection and interchangeable inserts. Depending on the chair structure and production equipment, conventional injection molding or gas-assisted molding options may be evaluated during the technical review.
The mold should also match the injection molding machine platen size, tie-bar spacing, injection capacity, clamping force, mold thickness range and robot operating space. Finished chair strength and durability testing may refer to ISO 7173:2023, while final performance should be confirmed through testing of the actual chair design.
Complete Plastic Chair Production Solutions
In addition to the plastic chair mold, HecosTech can coordinate large-tonnage injection molding machines, takeout robots, conveyor systems, product handling equipment and automation systems for plastic chair production.
The final production configuration depends on the chair dimensions, product weight, molding cycle, mold opening stroke, extraction direction, stacking method and factory layout. The takeout robot and end-of-arm tooling should be matched to the chair structure, machine opening space and required placement position.
Customers may request an individual mold or a complete production solution combining the mold, injection molding machine, robot, conveyor and supporting automation. Contact HecosTech to request a plastic chair mold quotation based on your chair drawing, sample, load requirements and production targets.
