PET Preform Mold Applications

PET preform mold solutions from HecosTech are developed for water bottles, carbonated beverage bottles, juice bottles, edible oil bottles, cosmetic containers, personal care packaging and household chemical bottles.

The PET preform mold is developed as a specialized plastic injection mold according to the bottle design, neck finish, preform weight, PET resin, required cavity number, production output and injection molding machine specifications.

PET preforms can be customized for different bottle volumes, wall thicknesses, neck standards and downstream blow molding requirements. The mold configuration is evaluated according to the customer’s plastic packaging production requirements.

Custom PET Preform Mold Design

Each PET preform mold project is evaluated according to the preform geometry, neck finish, gram weight, number of cavities, hot runner system, gate quality, cooling layout and ejection requirements.

Balanced melt delivery and uniform cooling help maintain consistent preform weight, wall thickness and dimensional stability across the mold cavities. The mold structure should also match the injection molding machine platen, tie-bar spacing, injection capacity, clamping force, nozzle interface and mold controller.

The final mold specifications are confirmed after reviewing the customer’s bottle drawing, preform drawing, sample and required production capacity.
